Friday was another big day for us for work done on the course. Cleanup is still going on but we managed to finish up blowing off fairways, cleaning up landscape beds, and get most of the natural areas burned. Guys continue to pick up branches around the course which will continue to be a timely task. Covers were put back on some of the weaker areas of a few greens to keep those soil temperatures moderate and conducive to germination of new seed as well as pushing the grass that is there. Next week it looks as though rain is going to be moving in which will limit the amount of work we can be done with machinery. I envision doing a great deal of cleaning under trees as well as start working on edging bunkers. Weather will dictate what we do, as it always does. Attached is a video of some spring burning:
