Glorious!

That really sums up the morning here at Briarwood.  The sun is shining, birds chirping, and the grass is green.  A few guys are out and about walking the course this morning.  Unfortunately it is another day with no carts as we're just very damp.  Friday produced .75" of rain with a bit more added last night.  Most of today is to be in the clear but a chance of showers comes around later in the day and tonight.
I'm hoping that the week ahead is cooperative on the moisture standpoint.  Still a great deal of work that we need to get done but the wet ground and rains are keeping us a bit at bay.  Bunkers are really the last large task left to tackle.  Tuesday we'll begin to address those with primary focus being on the greenside bunkers first.  A good amount of time will be put in as we need to skim the soil from the surface before being able to push and rake any sand.  This is again to try to reduce the amount of contamination that takes place from year to year and rain event to rain event.  I estimate it will be a full weeks worth of time.  Starting the 18th we'll have more guys back on staff that will help speed up some of our spring duties as right now we have a skeleton crew of 10.
Well I'm gonna go enjoy the nice weather, hope everyone is enjoying it too!
