A Great Friday

The day has moved along nicely with numerous tasks getting completed. All in all another great week! Rain fell thought the whole day yesterday and was perfect timing with the perfect amount. We had applied a few fertilizer products to the greens and approaches on Wednesday which the .30" of rain washed in nicely.
Today we are back to working on bunkers but also continuing some other necessary work. Sod work is being done on fairways along with planting a few new shrubs which both jobs can be seen in the attached photo. Greens and approaches are also getting mowed again and we've lowered the heights. The lower cutting height along with grooved rollers are making things look tremendous! We continue to aid spots that are a bit thin with extra seed as well as extra fertilizer. These areas will fill in, there is plenty of time between the remainder of this fall and then next spring.
