Today we began the removal of the greens covers. Can't say they are permenantly off as that will be dependent on weather. We are taking them off now as the temps for the next few days are going to be climbing and the long range forecast is showing a good deal of rain as well. Before all the precipitation gets here I want to be able to get them mowed and sprayed for some spring diseases, primarly Pink Snow Mold. Our greens have been prone to attracting that disease in the spring so we will be applying a fungicide to combat that.
Everything is looking great so far. I'll get more pictures and video of the greens this afternoon but for now I'm attaching a picture of 4 green which struggled through the intense summer. I'm happy to say that the green in above 95% healed with just a few small spots to either plug or see how the seed develops in the spring.
