Long range forecasts are looking up. Over the last few weeks temperatures have become more moderate that have helped begin to thaw the soil and make things begin to wake. Temperatures over the next few weeks make me think things are going to begin to pop and give us the ability to begin to get some cleanup work done on the course. We were able to get out a few times last week and begin to cut down tallgrasses in the planter areas but still have a ways to go. Plans are to continue that effort this week along with begin a few other cleanup jobs. Covers are possibly going to be popped up this week with possible mowing and spraying taking place. Covers will be placed back though following the mowing and spraying for more than likely another week or two, all weather dependent. The excitement builds as we get near to the start of the 2011 season.
As things begin to get going here the blog will be come a more frequent tool of communication, as there will be a lot to tell.
