Below is an article featured in Golf Course Management magazine. It discusses the renovation that Congressional recently went through partially to prep for the US Open but to also make conditions better for their members. Similar to Briarwood, Congressional had Bent/Poa greens. Mike Giuffre, Director of Grounds mentions how it was a challenge to have top notch conditions with such turfs in such a climate.
