This past week we faced a challenge, 2.6" of rain Tuesday night. When making decisions for the golf course we always think ahead, and knowing big days like today and JUF right around the corner we needed to protect the course. Traffic throughout a saturated course opens the risk of damage. We remain cautious after these "flooding" rains. If holes are impassable we usually close the course, otherwise we'll always remain open for walking.
Weather following the Tuesday storms cooperated and has given us great conditions for the weekend. Things dried down and the grass was happy. Weather over the next few days are questionable and our fingers are crossed that it cooperates for JUF preparations and play. A busy Monday is taking shape and we look forward to presenting great conditions for JUF Day.
I'll leave u with some pleasant weekend photos.
